'Lifestyles' was Dubai's first annual social event to combine the ultimate in luxury and leisure products, services, cuisine and entertainment in a sophisticated yet relaxed environment. Running alongside the World Offshore Championship Powerboat Race at the Dubai International Marine Club, the event was held under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum with main sponsors Emirates Airline and Dubai Duty Free.

Dubai created its own Jurassic Park as Streamline brought an acclaimed 'super robotic exhibition' of 17 dinosaurs to the Dubai Shopping Festival. Stunning, realistic and moving animatronics from the UK's prestigious Natural History Museum created a vivid picture of dinosaur life in Jurassic and Cretaceous times, providing family entertainment and education to the massive influx of visitors and residents alike. Displayed in a jungle-like atmosphere within the Dubai Creek Park, the exhibition was voted 'Most Innovative Event 1999' by the Dubai Shopping Festival Organising Committee.

Dubai has grown into one of the major equestrian centres around the globe. Fully supported by the Dubai Racing Club, Dubai World Cup and the UAE Equestrian & Racing Federation, 'The Equestrian Show' ran alongside the 'Richest Horse Race in the World,' the Dubai World Cup, in 2001 and 2002. Held at the picturesque Nad Al Sheba Racecourse, the event showcased a wide range of equestrian products & services from bedding and riding equipment to fencing and veterinary supplies.

Streamline managed the visit of Tiger Woods to Godolphin Stables, where he was hosted by H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai. During his tour of the Godolphin operation, a racehorse, 'Dubai Tiger' was named in honour of the famous golfer.
