The advent of new technology and new business processes is contributing to the growth of aerospace industry. Therefore, these employers require new hires to have post-secondary education, including industry specific credentials and licensure to fill an array of well-paying advanced manufacturing jobs. While secondary education institutes are working closely with the region’s employers to create training curriculum and other programmes to improve employment outcomes and deliver a workforce with the necessary skills there is a still a shortage. This session will look at how organisations can plan for the future and recruit the best workforce available. |
