The emphasis is on availability, cost and customer service in both commercial and military markets which demands high performance in not only manufacturing but also in procurement. This session lead by AAR Corp will focus on how international partnerships can contribute to ensuring quality, availability and efficiency.

Session B: Managing your Supply Chain in a Globalised Industry
Aircraft and Engine OEMs have outsourced through RRSP (Risk and Revenue Sharing Partnerships), market risk sharing, and divesting of manufacturing facilities. In recent years, the trend has somewhat reversed as OEMs bring capabilities back in-house. With emerging market suppliers such as those in the UAE looking to increase their participation in the supply chain what product and technology niches have the highest potential to bring a strong return on investment and long-term sustainability?
Moderator: Todd Siena, Founding Partner, Avia-Tek

Session C: Best Practice in Manufacturing for the Aerospace industry to build competitiveness
Commercial aircraft and defence contract manufacturers are continually looking for ways to reduce the cost of inventory and increase responsiveness. What are organisations doing to bring best practices in supply chain management and lean manufacturing? This session will discuss how and what best practice strategies are being used internationally and regionally.
Moderator: Frederic Barthe, Aerolia Services & UAE Program Director, Aerolia
